Photo and video from the opening of the last several exhibitions:

Diplomatic Club in Belgrade, June 2009, exhibition organized by the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary, His Excellency Sandor Pap.

Opening an exhibition of paintings by Zoran Andric the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary, His Excellency said:

It is a great pleasure to be able to welcome you here. Mr. Painter and his wife are of special importance to me and I would like to point out that I have met him a few years ago, quite by accident. It was an opportunity in which he reported that he painted in Baja, where he stayed in Hungary. It was very interesting as he spoke with such passion about the three weeks he spent in Hungary and about the time he spent with friend Mr. Gilian, which is unfortunately already died. Only in this short three-week stay, he had so many beautiful and precious experience and what was told to me as perhaps the most beautiful time, socializing, work and inspiration in his life.
I immediately felt that I had to love him, because he feels so much friendship towards Hungary. Later, when I discovered and met him as a man we became friends with him and his family, although we do not know a common language, I do not speak Serbian, they do not speak Hungarian, but became my most sincere friends.
I'm glad that I met a good artist, but unfortunately I can not explain why I love his paintings. It is quite clear to me why I love him and accept as a friend, but why I love his paintings, I have no explanation, I just can  explain why I appreciate and love him.
So I decided to choose a specialist, and I invited Prof. Dr. Jasna Jovanov from Novi Sad, art historian, and I guess I expect that she will give, from her point of view more knowing Zoran and his painting, an explanation to all of us of what is the essence of this painting and why not just me, but I believe many of you or all of you love his work. When she presents us her story our opinion on these paintings will probably be different, and our love will surely be even better, stronger, and her explanation will deepen in us the reasons of our attention to bind us to the Zoran's paintings.

Part of speech Prof. Dr. Jasna Jovanov from the opening:

While standing in front of these paintings we wonder why here is no people usually on them. We note that whether we have landscapes or urban motifs people are usually are not there. Maybe my opinion is wrong, but I will say that I think that Zoran with intent makes some kind of stage, scene, where anyone can find their role, their place in the picture, in the scenery .. its general place under the sun. In this sense, I would say that this is a philosophical painting rich of colors, strong gesture, very dynamic, very expressive, positive and optimistic.

A word by H.E. Mr. Homer A. Mavrommatis, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus in Belgrade in the catalog of the exhibition of paintings by Zoran Andric, Gallery - House Dura Jaksic in Belgrade in 2010.

The Cyprus Tourist Organization in cooperation with the Embassy extended an invitation to Zoran Andric, a well known expressionist landscape artist  to visit Cyprus to get to know its people, its culture and Mediterranean hospitality. Zoran Andric I met two years ago in Valjevo during  a visit there and I was impressed by his work and especially his paintings from the coast of Montenegro. I always wondered what the result would be if he used his talents painting Cypriot landscapes. This became a reality thanks to hospitability of the Cyprus Tourist Organization.
In  return Mr. Andric is offering  us today these paintings a product of his stay there, which are full of the magical colours of the island of Aphrodite in the spring. I am sure that his paintings today will add value to his long career as a landscape artist and become another visual bridge  between  our countries. In his paintings  the castle of Paphos, the old town of Limassol and the endless coast line of the island of Cyprus come to life .

This exhibition is the main cultural event organized by the Embassy for the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Republic of Cyprus, and part of the proceeds will be given to “Nasa Srbija” for the benefits of children victim of wars.

Word of H. E. Ms. Nafsika Krousti, the Ambasador of the Republic of Cyprus in Belgrade,  the exhibition catalog in Valjevo Zoran Andric 2014

I am deeply gratified to be given the opportunity to be in Valjevo. I thank the organizers of the manifestation “Tesnjar’s nights” and especially Mr. Zoran Andric for his kind invitation to me, to open his exhibition “Mediterranean – a century later”, i am honoured. As it is well known the relations existing between our two countries have been traditionally excellent, friendly and confirmed concretely during difficult times for both of them. Our ties have to be brotherly tight as our tradition and Orthodoxy and its high values connect us. Mr. Andric, a renowned and a proved friend of my country, in his own way, contributes to the establishment of even firmer ties between Cyprus and Serbia.

Although i am not an expert, i may certainly recognize the emotion and energy within the paintings of Zoran Andric. I'm particularly pleased that Mr. Andric during his stay in Cyprus, a few years ago, managed to capture the pantheon of colors flourishing in my small country. The motives of sandy beaches, the Mediterranean landscape, the Cyprus sun, the clear Cyprus sky through his images become unreal, as if melting with the Cypriot-Greek mythology.

The painting skills of Zoran Andric are easily recognizable; he is consistently following his artistic direction. He holds its own development and gradually has formed a distinctive visual character. His images are not just pictures, nor colors: His works emanate Poetry, Drama, always there is an outcome. Energy reflected by the paintings of Zoran Andric testifies of an artist who does his best, who seeks and strives to extract from the landscape that reproduces the greatest and most gracious features. The artistic expression of Zoran Andric, irritates our senses, no one will remain indifferent to the color combinations and the outcome thereof. Standing still, always on the sunny side, in front of Mr. Andric new formulations and synthetic vision emerge.

"THREE BOATS" The collection
of paintings and poetry

Zoran Andrić, painter and
Argentine poet Aurora Gladys Castellá

at the residence of the Ambassador
of the Argentine Republic
Belgrade Andre Nikolica 14 A

On October 5, 2016 at 19:00
the exhibition is opened by
ambassador of the Republic of Argentina
His Excellency, Mr. Ricardo Fernandez

Foreword by H.E. Mr. Richard Fernandez, the Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina:

I have the privilege to present these paintings of Zoran Andric, who, with his master paintbrush, exciting color, light and energy that radiates from his paintings, creates a suggestive magic that drives emotion and overwhelms.
I understand why, almost at the same moment, the Argentine poet Aurora Gladys Castellá, felt the emotion present in his paintings, which awakened in her "rainbow sparkle", inspired her songs to give them a special sensibility.
Poetry and painting were merged into a metamorphosis of human expression, which relies on painted landscapes and written words, creating a language that touches us deeply and moves.
This global phenomenon, peculiar to our time, enabled the spontaneous and artistic linking of the Argentine poet and the Serbian painter , and, besides, confirmed the similarity of temperament of our two peoples, in spite of their distance.
Zoran Andric, the creator , well known in the Serbian and the international environment, born for the art of expressionism, studied this matter, the color, but he has also been able to turn towards a new dimension in his works, whose distinctive characteristics are peculiar to our age, which conveys beauty, touches deep inside and runs emotions.
We know that visual art helps us to understand different cultures, it connects us with them and, exceeding the limits of language, conveys to us the emotions and feelings; because of all that I am filled with pride for two reasons, because I am present at this magnificent exhibition of light and freedom, because it is completely in line with our Declaration of Independence, which was adopted on 9 July 1816, so this year we, Argentines, celebrate two centuries of the Declaration.
